Santa Barbara Fish Market
The Santa Barbara Fish Market has been serving our community with fresh seafood for over 15 years. We take great pride in being the only local commercial fishermen's direct outlet to the public. For Organic Essentials, we focus on locally harvested seafood products only.
Crisp, light and salty, ogo seaweed is often found as a signature ingredient in Hawaiian poke preparations. Ogo is wonderful when served raw in salads, in cold broths, with shellfish preparations and with ceviches or sushi. It has a fluffy texture and a deep reddish-brown color when fresh.
Local sustainably caught halibut. The fish comes filleted and frozen to guarantee the best freshness. Halibut is a year round staple of our Santa Barbara Channel fisheries. Halibut has a lean, bright white flesh, best poached or baked to avoid drying out.
The local Rock Crab claws often called Stone Crabs are caught by hard-working fishermen and women here in Santa Barbara. Fresh, salty, and sweet, these crab claws are a local Santa Barbara delicacy.
